Building on the success of past editions, the 2011 IEEE PES Power Systems Conference & Exhibition (PSCE) is a major power systems event that will provide an exceptional venue for discussing issues and developments as well as highlighting key vendors with products and services essential to the multifaceted field of electrical power systems.
PSCE will bring together an international group of practicing power systems engineers, operators, planners, policy makers, economists, academics and others with interest in the profession. The conference will begin with a plenary session on a topic of timely importance in the industry. Tutorials on the most up-to-date topics on power systems will be offered. Paper-, panel-, poster-sessions, and paper forums will be scheduled along with featured Super Sessions along the theme of: The Next Generation Grid — Putting It All Together.
Papers are invited on all topics related to electric power and energy with focus on the following areas:
Submission Requirements: Papers (maximum length 8 pages) must be prepared in accordance with the procedures outlined in the PES Authors Kit, available on the PES website. Full papers must be submitted to the on-line submission and review site; a link to the site will be available from the PES home page. Key dates are:
At least one author of each paper must register for the meeting and pay the appropriate fee before an accepted paper will be released for publication in the 2011 PES Power Systems Conference and Exposition Proceedings or scheduled for presentation during a technical session. Note: Registration deadline for authors may be earlier than the general registration deadline.
Presentation of an accepted paper is a requirement of publication. Any paper that is not presented at the conference will not be included in IEEE Xplore.
