In Power Systems Operation, Planning, Policy, Markets, Analysis, and Control
Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2004, the 2006 IEEE PES Power Systems Conference & Exhibition will be a major power systems event that will again provide an exceptional venue for discussing issues and developments as well as for highlighting key vendors with products and services essential to the multifaceted field of electrical power systems.
PSCE will bring together an international group of practicing power systems engineers, operators, planners, policy makers, economists, academics and others with interest in the profession.
The conference will begin with a timely and valuable plenary session and will also include tutorials on the most up-to-date topics on power systems. In addition, the conference will comprise an outstanding combination of technical panel, paper and poster sessions focusing on the following tracks:
TRACK 1: Planning and Operation, covering such topics as:
TRACK 2: Markets, Policies, and Economics, covering such topics as:
TRACK 3: Dynamic Performance of Power Systems, covering such topics as:

Papers must be prepared in accordance with the procedures outlined in the PES Publications Guide, which is part of the PES Authors Kit available at the PES web site (www.ieee.org/power). Complete manuscripts are to be submitted electronically via the 2006 Power Systems Conference and Exposition web site (www.pscexpo.com), which can also be accessed from the PES web site. The submission site will be available for paper submissions beginning early February 2006 through April 28, 2006.
Authors will be notified of the decision regarding their paper by June 23, 2006. At least one author of each paper must register for the meeting and pay the appropriate fee before an accepted paper will be released for publication in the 2006 PES PSCE Proceedings or scheduled for presentation during a technical panel, paper or poster session.
