For architecture, remarkable gardens, art, history, spectacular scenery, horse-drawn carriages, and classic automobiles, a daytrip to Kykuit is simply amazing. John D. Rockefeller, the philanthropist and founder of Standard Oil, completed the estate in 1913, and it was home to four generations of the Rockefeller family. The Hudson’s Valley’s most exceptional historic house and gardens, located in the heart of Sleepy Hollow Country. The day includes a coach bus from mid-town Manhattan up to the Hudson Valley. Joyce Gold will share a treasure of fascinating stories both serious and frivolous, about Manhattan and its people along the ride.
