Sunday, March 20 and Thursday, March 24, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Many consider the Grand Canyon – one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World - to be the most awesome sight on earth. The Grand Canyon is the earth’s own history book; it took Mother Nature between three million to six million years to create. During this tour you will explore the beauty of the Canyon from many scenic overlooks, each vibrant with the earth’s colors. Along with the sights your guide will both educate and entertain with the cultural history, and story of the earliest settlers and explorers of the Canyon.
You will have time on your own for lunch, shopping, visiting the museums of the Hopi Indians (and their prehistoric ancestors, the Anasazi), or taking the many self-guided walking tours along the rim of the Canyon. You may also want to attend a multimedia slide program depicting the Canyon’s history, geology, and beauty.
We will also visit a Trading Post located on the Navajo Indian Reservation. The Cameron Trading Post, one of the original historic Trading Posts, and still being used by the Indians today, is great for shopping for jewelry, gifts, rugs, paintings and hand-made pottery – all authentic and from the reservations around the Canyon, (don’t miss the Indian Fry Bread). Be sure to join us for this incredible, daylong visit at the Grand Canyon!

Sedona. It’s simply magical with its breathtaking scenery, sheer canyon walls, and incredible massive red rock formations. This picturesque city, surrounded by red-rock monoliths named for the distinctive objects their shapes resemble (Bell, Coffee-pot and Snoopy) rate as one of the country’s most beautiful places to visit. Your guide will take various back roads so you can appreciate the unbelievable scenery and ever changing colors that is Sedona.
Your first stop will be at Montezuma’s castle— a well-preserved ancient Indian cliff dwelling that was abandoned by the Sinaqua Indian Tribe more that a thousand years ago. Then you’ll take off for a variety of scenic drives that includes the spectacular Oak Creek Canyon, often photographed with its layers of different colored stone deposits that date back to pre-historic times.
We spend a short time at Tlaquepaque, a recreated Mexican Market Village with its tiled courtyards and bubbly fountains and Mexican adobe shops. There are great restaurants and over 50 unique boutique shops – no two alike, which showcase the works and wares of the local artisans as well as those from Mexico.

A half day guided tour to introduce you to the special sights and culture of the Valley of the Sun. Our expert guide will go into the history and culture of Phoenix and its amazing growth from a real Western cow- town to a now sophisticated 5th largest city in the nation. Some of the sights you may see on this tour are the State Capital building, historic Heritage Square with the original homes built back in 1895, the Old Territorial Museum restored to the way it was in 1899. We journey through Paradise Valley and the famed Biltmore Estate area that includes the world famous, elegant Biltmore Hotel and multi-million dollar homes. We travel through Tempe; the fun, exciting college town of Arizona State University and go on to the campus to view the famous Grady Gammage Theater designed by the renowned American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. At the end of the tour, if time permits, we will make a stop at the Biltmore Fashion Park. Spectacular blooming flowers surround the elite stores that line the garden walkways.

Explore the intense terrain and serene mountain views of the Sonoran desert aboard one of the greatest 4’ x 4’ vehicles around - the unstoppable Hummer! You will go places a normal off-road vehicle can’t – old mining trails, canyons, up and around fantastic rock formations. The Hummer conquers the toughest terrain with ease. Along the way your guide will entertain you with stories of the Old West and introduce you to the most fascinating wildlife of the desert. The Hummer tour will be conducted by a guide who will take you along the same Pioneer Trail that his great-great grandparents used when they traveled to Phoenix in covered wagons. It is still as wild today as it was many years ago.

Scottsdale with its Palm Trees and mountains in the distance looks like it came straight out of a Hollywood movie set. Scottsdale offers streets filled with shops, art galleries, eateries, coffeehouses and great restaurants. It is also home to Fashion Square, the largest premier indoor shopping Mall in the Southwest offering “shop till you drop” excitement.With more than 225 shops it’s a shoppers paradise. Browse the many quaint stores that line the streets of Old Town and you will find a mix of real Western wear, Southwestern specialty shops, Indian jewelry and tasty treats. Also visit Marshall Way known for its art galleries and the largest collection of Cowboy Art in the world. Our guide will be happy to do a historic tour of Scottsdale for those that want to divide their time between shopping and learning more about the history of Scottsdale originally known as the Old West’s most Western town.

This tour has it all – the desert, Western towns, unique shops and most of all unbelievable scenery.
Much of the natural scenery is spectacular with massive piles of granite boulders, sharp mountains and an abundance of desert growth that thrives at this 2700 foot altitude. We visit for a short time at El Pedregal Festival Marketplace, a colorful and one of kind desert market built amongst the boulders, featuring hand-crafted jewelry, fashion, art, restaurants. Then off we go on desert roads. The tour includes a short easy walk in the desert to learn about the varied cacti and for memorable picture taking especially next to a giant Saguaro.
Closed toe comfortable walking shoes are advised.

The Garden is an outdoor museum with more than 20,000 desert plants in a spectacular desert setting. It has one of the finest collections of desert plants in the world. Our tour begins with an unforgettable journey on a tour at the Botanical Garden. Time is also allowed for you to stroll the paths on your own and for shopping at the garden store for gifts, plants, books, herbs and bath soaps and lotions made with various plants of the desert. The cacti will be packaged so that they can be carried or shipped home.
From the Botanical Garden a short drive takes us to the Pueblo Grande Museum. There we explore an ancient Hohokam site, the prehistoric Indian ruins at Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park. The Museum is located at a 1500 year-old Hohokam village in modern day Phoenix. A museum docent will guide us through their ancient excavated tribal buildings and Indian artifacts. This tribe who disappeared without a trace over a thousand years ago built many of the canals you see in Phoenix.

Cost: $35.00 per person – The coach leaves from the Wyndham Hotel at 8AM for a guided factory tour of Ping.
Upon arrival at the Ping factory you will be introduced to your tour guide and learn about the fascinating history of the company and its founder, Karsten Solheim. After the tour guide presents an overview of PING, you will see a video that includes, among other things, the physics of golf club design. You will be visiting various sections of the PING manufacturing plant to see how they create and make the golf clubs. Their clubs are used by professional players on the PGA and LPGA tours.
